St Mary’s Hall trip to the Somme, France
We’ve had a lovely, long drive south today, heading to France. We’re taking pupils from St Mary’s Hall, Stonyhurst to visit the historic site of The Battle of the Somme.

We’re at Haydock Races with Graham and Brown today in our gorgeous fully air-conditioned and comfy corporate coach fully equipped with fridges, catering Sky TV and everything else you might need for a fabulous works day out.

Sunday trip to Twickenham
We drove down to Twickenham Stadium today taking Lancashire RFU squad to defend the Bill Beaumont Men’s County ChampionshipFinals.

We’re in Ilkley with the cricket team from St Mary’s Hall.
The boys are looking sparkling in their whites, ready for their match. We’re not quite sure what Mr Loveridge is up to but you can rest assured he is not driving the coach!!
Bank Holiday Saturday was full of sports fixtures for Lakeland Coaches…
It was a gorgeous sunny day for a trip to the seaside – these two coaches took Stonyhurst and St Mary’s Hall students over to the Fylde Coast for away matches in rounders and cricket at Rossall School.
We took a coach full of Wigan Athletic FC supporters to Doncaster’s Keepmoat Stadium where they saw their team win 1.0, meaning they go up as Champions! Well done guys!!
Also on Saturday, our mini coach was zooming up to Cumbria, taking the Charnock Richard FC team to play away at Millom!
We’ve been ferrying Kirkham Grammar Girls Hockey Team to and from their tournaments and matches, along with Team Coaches Mrs Osbourne and Mrs Glover – and guess what….?
Tomorrow we are delighted to be taking them to the Olympic Stadium in London for the Finals – looking forward to a great day!
Lovely day for a trip up to Darlington’s Mowden Park…
Fylde make one change in their 20 man squad for the trip to National One 2nd placed club, Darlington Mowden Park. Alex Loney is named at hooker. Positional changes involve leading try scorer Tom Carleton returning to his normal fullback role, Connor Wilkinson to inside centre and Jake Foster starting on the right wing.
It’s Class Open time of year again, when we have take the visiting French pupils for a day out. This year Class Open, a French educational company, have brought over 89 Year 6 French pupils for a week of English and Sports in a the beautiful setting of Stonyhurst College.
This is the last day of their visit and we’ve brought them to Old Trafford for a tour of the Manchester
United Home Ground, and then we’ll be off to do some shopping at the Trafford Centre.
The children are enthusiastic and excited! They’ve had a great week and this is a fab way to end their stay.

Nice early start for a trip to Bishop’s Stortford with the Fylde Rugby team…GOOD LUCK LADS!!
“Fylde make their first ever visit to Silver Leys, the home of Hertfordshire club Bishop’s Stortford on Saturday (ko 3pm). BS will be looking to turn the tables on Fylde who beat them by 29-22 at the Woodlands in early December. This was Fylde’s last victory in National One and has been followed by 13 defeats, their poorest run in many, many seasons. They will hope to achieve only their second away victory of the season but it will be very tough. “
